Andhra Pradesh Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (APIIC) has transferred the title of Land to ECEPL.

EPC contract: Contract Agreement for Boiler – Turbine - Generator (BTG) Supply has been signed with Dongfang Electric Company (DEC), Republic of China.

Coal Linkage for 70% of the coal consumption for stage-1 (2x660 MW) has been allocated from Mahanadi Coal Fields Limited, Orissa. Letter of Assurance (LOA) issued by MCL.

ECEPL has signed Fuel Supply Agreement for supply of imported coal with Global Fuels Pte. Ltd. for 30% of the fuel required. GoI, MoC has stipulated that coastal based plants need to source 30% fuel from outside the country.

Environmental Clearance from Ministry of Environment and Forests is received for 2640 MW.

No objection certificate received from Ministry of Defence.

All mandatory clearances from statutory bodies have been obtained.

Long Term Power Purchase Agreement has been signed with PTC India Limited for off take of power.

Long term Open Access has been applied for and the CTU (PGCIL) has commenced related system strengthening studies. PGCIL has included the project in southern region studies and revised load flow studies are being made.
